Over the weekend of January 3, 2025, PowerSchool was upgraded to version 24.3.0.0. This update includes several enhanced features designed to improve our user experience and address known issues. Please share the following list of changes with school staff at your site.
New Enhancement to Languages

New three-character language codes: This enhancement introduces over 400 new three-character language codes in PowerSchool Administrator and the Parent Portal. The language dropdown menus now include a Smart Search feature that generates a list of languages that match your typed input. Historical two-character language codes have been migrated to their corresponding three-character codes, as per state mapping.

Enrollment Summary: The Make Students Current Selection no longer displays incorrect students. This is a resolved issue.

Health: All Notes & Comment fields on the Add/Edit Office Visits screen have been lengthened from 512 characters to 2048 characters.

PowerTeacher Attendance Report: Under System Reports, this report has been renamed to PowerSchool SIS Teacher Portal Attendance.

Request Management – Request Screens: Courses will now appear in their proper course group, instead of the Additional Request group when mass-adding course requests for students.

Schedule Matrix View: This page now features a text format view link within the page itself. Users can now notice an enhanced experience with screen readers as the matrix is accurately readable.

System Reports: The headers of the system reports page have been reordered to start with Attendance for Continuation and Independent Study Schools instead of Attendance.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerScheduler

Build & Load Constraints: The Associate buttons on the PowerScheduler Constraints pages have been removed and replaced with a Smart Search feature, allowing users to enter alpha or numeric text. Both course name and number values will be displayed as part of the autocomplete. An Edit icon is used instead of an Associate button when viewing individual teacher/student constraints.

Class Registration Screens: Courses will now appear in their proper course group, instead of the Additional Request group when mass-adding course requests for students.

Course List Report: The Course Number and Course Name on this report will now open the course edit page in a new tab.
New Features and Enhancements in PowerTeacher Pro

Comments: Teachers will now find the bulk comment functionality available on additional pages within PowerTeacher Pro (e.g., the Scoresheet, the Assignments Details page, and the Traditional Final Grades page).
