We’re pleased to share that effective August 1, 2025, an important update to our LCFF data collection process for the 2025–26 school year. In addition to the existing Parent Portal submission option, staff will be able to enter LCFF data directly through PowerSchool Admin when information is received via paper form or phone call. This new functionality will be available to users in the Power User, Attendance and Enrollment, and School Administrator permission groups.
Important Highlights:
Effective August 1, 2025, staff now have the ability to input LCFF data directly in Powerschool Admin when families provide the information through other sources (e.g., paper form or phone call). For step-by-step guide, refer to the Entering LCFF Data in PowerSchool job aid. This new process replaces the previous data entry method in Illuminate.
As of April 25, 2025, parents can submit LCFF data through the PowerSchool Parent Portal using their own accounts. This form is not accessible through student logins.
Job aids are available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese to assist families with the Parent Portal process. Staff entering data in PowerSchool Admin can refer to the Entering LCFF Data in PowerSchool job aid.
Please note that entries submitted through the parent portal are dynamic and will appear instantly in this report. However, submissions made via PowerSchool Admin require up to 24 hour to show up. To run this report, select sqlReports from the Start Page, then expand the group of Parent/Student Portal.
