New Reports/Features

• Next Year School/Next Year Grade Changes - A new text box will prompt users to enter a next year change reason if a change is made to a student’s Next Year School/Next Year Grade.

This new text box appears on the following pages:

• Next Year School/Grade Level Changes report – When a student number is entered in the report parameter, it will list all changes made to the individual student’s Next Year School and/or Next Year Grade Level. Configured this way, the report can be run at the school or district level. If the student number parameter is left blank, the report will list all students with a change. Only the most current change will be listed. Configured this way, the report can only be run at the school level. To run the report, select sqlReports from the Start Page left-side menu, then expand the group of Enrollment reports.

• Next Year School/Grade Level Changes (All) report – This report will list all students with changes and includes a count of the number of changes the student has had. A threshold parameter can be used to limit the results to students with more than the specified number of changes. This report can be run at the school or district level. To run the report, select sqlReports from the Start Page left-side menu, then expand the group of Enrollment reports.

• Exit Code – The E450 exit code is no longer used to transfer TK students. For more information on Entry and Exit Codes, see the PowerSchool Enrollment Handbook.

Other Changes

• Enrollment Handbook v.9.0 – A new version of the Enrollment Handbook is available on the IT Training and Support website. To quickly access this and all handbooks from PowerSchool, click the PowerSchool Handbooks, Job Aids and Videos link at the bottom of the Start Page, then click on Enrollment.

Reminders

• Semester 1/Quarter 2 (S1/Q2) ends December 20, 2024. Grades will be stored the week of January 7^th after the winter break. Please check Professional Learning for upcoming Grade Storing Open Labs.

• PowerSchool downtime – PowerSchool will be down for maintenance on Thursday, January 2, starting at 10:00 AM through Saturday, January 4, 2025. Please refer to prior announcement for additional details.
